since users can now hide comments from users they don't like to read, this feature seems to be redundant. the flag comment feature just entices some people to abuse its original purpose

Wouldn't the flagging give the mods a heads up? Maybe they didn't catch something.

With all the mods appointed now, it would be unlikely.

The ability to flag is and has been used in an abusive manner, and with all the new Tweaks now implemented is no longer necessary.

there is more abuse occurring than mods missing something. since the mods are now known, if someone feels that something is missed, then a pm could be sent to the mods
