Some people have suggested this before, so maybe it would be a popular feature. I don't have any trouble ignoring posters that I don't enjoy, so I have never understood why some people can't do the same.

But at least, it might cut down on the back and forth posters that claim they will ignore each others posts, but never do. We could always remind them that they have the "option to ignore". 

Do it! That sounds excellent! That would cut down on people who get their feelings hurt easy. That way if they get there feelings hurt they can just click in order to not see their postings. Should they choose to not take that option then I feel like it is kind of on them so to speak.

Sure is! It's almost like self moderating themselves. 

Although, I did think of a flaw in that. Many quote what others have said and give their thought. Would the block make a quote disappear? Probably not huh?

Even if it's quoted, you purposely chose to ignore that person, just take it that little step further to continue ignoring them...it could be done!
