While I may not agree with all of it, I do agree this is your site, and you need to make sure the way you staff it is with capable reliable people that you know can do the duties.
New mods should be a on a temporary basis and reviewed at the end of set time.

You have to have an admin if you are not willing to oversee the sites yourself.
